2025 is a year of big change for Cannondale Factory Racing! With the departure of Alan Hatherly, Simon Andreassen and Mona Mitterwallner, almost the entire squad has been renewed… with major arrivals: Olympic champion Jolanda Neff, U23 world champion Luca Martin, but also the talented Cole Punchard and Ana Santos!
It’s not every day that we welcome an Olympic champion into our ranks! Cannondale Factory Racing has just made the news official: Swiss XC icon Jolanda Neff will defend its colors for 2025!
« We are proud to count Jolanda Neff among our ranks. She brings an immense amount of racing experience and expertise to the CFR family », Explains the team staff. As a reminder, Jolanda Neff has (notably) 13 XCO World Cup victories, six Swiss championships, four European titles, three World Cup titles in the general classification, a world championship and an Olympic gold medal in Tokyo!
Good news never comes alone: Frenchman Luca Martin, current U23 XCO world champion, is joining Cannondale Factory Racing for 2025, after four seasons spent under the Orbea banner (namely two for the Orbea Factory Team and two more under KMC-Orbea).
-He is accompanied by the talented Portuguese pilot, Ana Santos, and Canada’s U23 national champion, Cole Punchard.
« The CFR prides itself on being the launchpad for emerging talent – with a reputation for supporting young athletes and underdogs to become tomorrow’s champions and household names in mountain biking. The Cannondale-owned team has already produced seven world champions, including five in the last 18 months! “, boasts the structure. Can you find these seven world champions?
The squad is completed by the brilliant Charlie Aldridge, who is starting his third year with the brand’s team. After his very good results in 2024, would this be the year of consecration for the Briton? See you at the first round of the World Cup, in Araxa (Brazil) at the beginning of April, to find out!
