More than 200 athletes expected for the 4th edition of the Bouriane badminton tournament

The badminton club of Gourdon, in the Lot, accustomed to participating in numerous tournaments, even outside the department, will organize this time, theth weekend of January 11 and 12, 2025their 4^e edition of the Bourian tournamente au gymnase du Vigan.

They will welcome more than 200 athletes who will meet on 7 courts during singles, doubles and mixed doubles matches. The competition will be open to players from unranked to regional level. They pulled out all the stops for the new year, with numerous prizes for the first two players in each series. After the organization of the regional youth championship, the regional Veteran championship, it will once again be, apart from the numerous events, tournaments, activities and others, a large-scale event organized in this gymnasium. Of course, they will be happy to welcome all the spectators to help you discover what this sport is like in competition, far from its leisure practice. Competitions will take place from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the gymnasium.

In addition, for the comfort of players and especially spectators, Live scoring will be set up, the only club in Occitanie to offer this service. Live scoring allows the display of match scores with the help of a tablet and transmits the results directly to the scorer's table, which saves precious minutes on the progress of the day's matches and also the display of the live score on screens intended for the public.
