Taken over by a new team led by Hervé Gourgand (president), the Hautot-sur-Mer Club starts from the base, that is to say by encouraging the practice by the youngest. Thus, they are introduced to road cycling in a cycling school. from the age of 6.

They will be able to learn everything before joining the pelotons for competitions.

Made available by the Hautot-sur-Mer town hall, the Petit-Appeville primary school hosted the first session of the new VCH cycling school.

Five children have already responded to the call, which is a great success for the team.Hervé Gourgand who himself gave his first advice to young people with the help of Christophe Hardy and François Pennier.

Nothing is left to chance

The kids were able to do their first spins on their bikes or on club bikes rebuilt by Hervé Gourgand.

Already, there has been talk of Traffic Laws and balance on two wheels with different games on the program.

This first session obviously attracted participants ready to tell their friends about it.

When the weather is nice, the session takes place in the schoolyard.

And when it is more difficult, a playground and a classroom can be used.

In short, nothing is left to chance so that young people who want to discover road cycling are well received.

It will be like this every Wednesday in the first half of the afternoon.

The only cycling school that exists in the Dieppe region, this VCH structure welcomes young people aged 6 to 13.
