Roglic revives the rumor about Evenepoel

After recruiting Primoz Roglic, Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe now dreams of acquiring the services of Remco Evenepoel. During an interview, the Slovenian recently spoke about this rumor which continues to grow.

Ever more ambitious, the Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe team hopes to continue to make headlines in 2025. Because, after successfully recruiting Primoz Roglic, the German team does not lack ambition and dreams big. From now on, the latter would target Remco Evenepoel, currently under contract until 2026 with Soudal-Quick Step. For this, Red Bull – Bora-Hansgrohe would be ready to pull out all the stops, including a salary of ten million euros for the double Olympic champion.

During a recent interview, Roglic spoke about the ambitions of his team and… further revived the rumor concerning the Belgian prodigy. “I have the impression that a complete change is taking place. There's a bunch of new people coming in and I think now is when we're going to start working. It's a big challenge », Firstly explained the winner of the Tour of Spain in 2024.

Roglic: “When there is smoke…”

« We can say we have it all, but all the parts need to be connected to each other for the unit to function at its best. (…) Evenepoel? I didn't even think about it. I have enough challenges already, so something that's just a maybe or an “if” I don't want to think about. But when there's smoke, there's probably fire too. I don't know in detail if there were any discussions or anything, but we'll seeRoglic subsequently explained, during an interview visible on the FloBikes YouTube channel. As in everything we know, there are positive things and others a little less. » So will we soon see the Slovenian and Evenepoel together in the same team? One thing is certain, Patrick Lefevere will do everything to keep his gem as long as possible.
