Meet at Châtillon-en-Bazois. The Nivernaise season continues on Sunday November 10 in Châtillon-en-Bazois. While Maxime Girardin, winner in Mesves, and Florian Auroux, who triumphed in Chaulgnes, are in the Coupe de France (read below), the two new Nivernais riders from Chartres, Damien Gazut and Cyrian Merlin, have a good chance of do well. Auroux and Breugnot in the Coupe de France. Florian Auroux (Guidon Chalettois) and Julien Breugnot (CC Varennes-Vauzelles) are competing this weekend in the third round of the Coupe de France, which is taking place in Pierric (Loire Atlantique).
Fencing
Boot of Nevers Challenge this weekend. The Challenge de la Botte de Nevers takes place this weekend on the slopes of the venue of the same name. 80 competitors, mainly from Burgundy-Franche-Comté, are entered in the M11, M13, M15, M17 and M20 categories. In the premier category, that of the M20, four swordsmen from the Cercle Nevers Escrime have a good chance to play: William Gawlas, Gabriel Brunet, Doryan Bernardin and Lilian Ceyte. Formerly of the CNE, Roland Tempesta, now in Grenoble, is also there. Same times for both days of competition: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Finals of the Wine Tournament in Cosne. The Cosne-Sancerre Wine Tournament will have its epilogue on Sunday November 10, on the covered courts of the Raphaël-Giraux sports park, in Cosne. Program: women's final from 3 p.m. and men's final from 4:30 p.m.
Handball
Relocated match for USO Nevers in the Coupe de France Fédérale. Sunday November 10, at 4 p.m., on the occasion of the second round of the French Federal Cup, USO Nevers (National 2) will host Longvic (National 2) at the Caqueret de Decize gymnasium and not at the Maison des sports, the latter being unavailable. A victory would be welcome before resuming the championship on Saturday November 16 in Lure-Villers.

Youth challenge. The first round of the Youth Challenge takes place on Saturday November 9 at three sites: in Nevers for groups 1, 5, 6, 8, 9; in Vauzelles for groups 2 and 3 and in Pouilly for groups 4, 7, 10 and 11.
Basket-ball
Migna Touré participated in the Bleues festival. By winning 94-52 against Israel on Thursday evening in Caen, the French women's team moved a little closer to qualifying for Eurobasket 2025 (June 18 to 29 in Italy, Greece, Germany and Czech Republic). Coming off the bench, Neversoise Mamignan Touré scored 13 points at 5/9 shooting, accompanied by four rebounds and two interceptions, but four lost balls, all in just over 22 minutes on the floor. Les Bleues will play a second match in this international window against Latvia, Sunday November 10 in Riga (kick-off at 5:10 p.m.).
