Antonio Angulo: “Very excited to finish the year well and start 2025 as best as possible.”

The runner Burgos-BH did not expect to be called to compete in the European Championships this year and is very ambitious for the end of the season and for 2025: “My assessment of this year 2024 is much better than that of last year. Even though we didn’t reach the exceptional level we were looking for, I managed to be consistent from January to October. This is what I was looking for and what allowed me to be competitive in all the races I participated in. With each month that passed I felt better and in August and September I experienced my greatest moment, accompanied by good results in races like the Vuelta a Burgos or the Tour du Limousin, a race that I love and which suits me well.”

“After these months in which my body started to respond better, the call from the national team came. I didn’t expect it and I went to the European Championship with a lot of enthusiasm […] I’ve competed in some races with some pretty high level people and that motivates me to correct my mistakes and work on my strengths this winter. We will see what the team’s calendar will be and which races will best suit my characteristics, in which I could stand out. So I’m very excited to end the year well and start 2025 as best as possible,” he concluded Antonio Angulo in the official press release from the Spanish team.
