The Tour of Emilie 2024 takes place on Saturday October 5, 2024 between Vignola et Saint Luke with a fictitious start at 11:10 a.m. and a real start launched at 11:15 a.m. Arrival expected around 4:30 p.m. The event will be broadcast on Eurosport from 2:45 p.m.

A high-flying rehearsal for the Tour of Lombardy
With a positive altitude difference of 3300 m over a distance of 215.3 km, the Tour d’Emilie is a classic with a very hilly profile. The runners will start from Vignola for a fictitious departure at 11:10 a.m. After a neutralized part of 2.8 km, the peloton will cross the Emilia-Romagna region. The online course will be 179 km before completing 4 laps of a final circuit of 8.7 km at Saint Lukein the southern part of Bologna. There will be 6 climbs listed in the ranking of the best climber (three on the online part and three on the final circuit, in the climb which will serve as the finish). The first coast, that of Zocca (13.9km climb at 3.9% average slope and 9% max slope) at km 80.3, will do a first skimming. Then comes the rise of Grizzana Morandi (6.2km at 5.8% average slope and 10% max slope)at km 113.8. Before reaching the final circuit of San Luca, the climb of Montechiaro (3.1km at 9.7% average slope and 18% max slope) at km 151.9 could serve as a launching pad for the ultimate favorite Tadej Pogacar. The final circuit will include a two-part climb and will circle the Basilica of San Luca. It’s a perfect place to crown a majestic winner!
