This new flagship of national football never ceases to surprise. Shortly after its opening, the Center was rewarded for its daily work to supply the national teams with high-level young players to ultimately become a true breeding ground for the most promising nuggets.

The Center prepares future high-level players by offering them solid sporting training combined with academic training leading to qualifications beyond football, a way of guaranteeing these young talents better horizons and a much brighter future.

In the U15 category, 11 talented players joined the national selection gatherings in anticipation of the next competitions while 5 other sharp young players took part in the U16 national selection.

Achieving these results was made possible thanks to a united team at the Center, made up of high-level coaches and educators, led by an experienced figure in the world of football, Belgian manager and coach Christophe Dessy. With solid and long experience in the management of the most prestigious European training centers, Mr. Dessy has made discipline and punctuality his watchwords in order to support the radiant development of national football which has has proven itself internationally.

In a statement to MAP, Mr. Dessy, Director of the Center, said that this high-level sports structure welcomes the categories of U13 to U16 for boys and U15 and U16 for the female categories, welcoming the provision by the FRMF of all the means promoting the development of young people, particularly in terms of infrastructure and equipment.

Mr. Dessy noted that the efforts of the technical staff have enabled the center to achieve positive results in several respects, specifying that the Center includes 102 trainees who train six times a week accompanied by 16 supervisors and educators who monitor daily on improving the level of these young people so that they are in better competitive conditions.

The goal of the Center is to constantly seek performance, whether sporting, educational or human, he underlined, noting that the center’s vocation is to participate in the improvement of national and regional football without necessarily neglect the academic component which occupies a preponderant place. In this sense, he continues, the center has sealed a school partnership with primary schools, middle schools and high schools in order to provide school time for residents and allow them to better reconcile sport and study.

This center dedicated to the training of talented young footballers from the region was financed as part of a partnership agreement between the wilaya of the Béni Mellal region, the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region and the Royal Moroccan Football Federation .

Built on more than 7 hectares with a constructed area of ​​8,300 square meters, the Center is organized into seven centers, including two for accommodation with a capacity of 127 beds, an educational center, an administrative center, a medical-sports center and a center residential.

It also includes two large football pitches, one made of natural grass and the other made of artificial turf, as well as a third training pitch.

The Center is equipped with all the facilities, infrastructure and equipment that meet the very high standards and quality standards recognized by major training centers around the world.

The player integration process is very selective to the extent that the Béni Mellal federal football center was created with the aim of raising the level of football across the region in addition to promoting the sport of football for make it an essential pillar for the development of youth.

Remember that Mr. Dessy had a technical career within the Royal Belgian Football Federation between 1997 and 1999 where he coached several categories of the Belgian national team, including the U14s, the U15s and the U16s. He then joined AS Lorraine as an assistant coach between 1999 and 2002 before managing the Nancy, Standard de Liège, and RAEC Mons training centers.

He subsequently held the position of head coach of Mons, before being appointed technical manager of the Robert Louis Dreyfus Academy in 2012 and in May 2016 director of the En avant de Guingamp training center.

In 2021, Christophe Dessy was appointed new sports director of the Sporting de Charleroi training center, then Coach of the U17s of AC (), a position he will hold until his appointment, director of the Béni Mellal federal football center .
