The succession of Alexandre Guérin, winner of 2023, was opened with a fine field of around fifty participants.

Victory for Antonin Boissière (Dordogne Sud Cyclisme)..

2 Thomas Devez 3 Mathis Garel 4 Alexandre Guérin 5 Mathis Charbleytou 6 Gabriel Peyencet 7 Mathieu Dupin….

Angry at the finish: Antonin Boissère won at home, but it wasn’t easy! “It makes you wonder if the runners wanted to win or make me lose…” he declared into Jean Louis Gauthier’s microphone.

The one who has recently returned to competitions with a job allowing him to train properly, accumulates places of 2th it records you sa 2th victory to end the season.

—————————-

The 92 kilometers of the race were “swallowed” at nearly 43 km/h.

Jean Luc Delpech, Mathieu Dupin and Alexis Thérin opened the breakaways.

Unfortunately, a few punctures ruined the hopes of some such as Clément Jourde or Samuel Serres.

Thomas Carreau, Mathieu Dupin, Clément Barthe, Martin Cazelles, joined by Guillaume Joisnot seemed to be off to a good start shortly before halfway, but with around twenty seconds in advance the peloton had them at gunpoint.

With a violent acceleration from Antonin Boissière relayed by Gabriel Peyencet the peloton seemed to disband but quickly reconstituted itself after catching the breakaways.

The US Villenviense riders came into play without any further results, before Jean Luc Delpech took action.

Joined by a very strong Mathieu Dupin and Thomas Carreau, the trio was never able to make a big difference.

Mathis Charbleytou in the company of Alexandre Léon 2 laps from the final seemed well placed with around thirty seconds in advance while the peloton seemed resigned.

This was without counting on the finale of Antonin Boissière taking 6 runners in his wake.

Taking the last turn in the lead, none of his companions was able to pass it.

The peloton could only sprint for the 8th place !

The winner congratulated by Henri Basset

1is Access Guillaume Joisnot, best sprinter Thomas Carreau, first junior Mathis Charbleytou.

Great success for the Sprinter Club Club du Périgord of president Patrice Peyencet with a large audience and a race which never fell into monotony.
