The Confluences cinema in Sablé-sur- is welcoming an adventurer this Monday, October 14, 2024. His name is Constant Pelhate, he is 30 years old, he is from and he is on the move!

After his studies in , he escaped the multitude of the capital by cycling around the world. It was 2019, before the Covid-19 pandemic. Since then, he has led a “sedentinary” life, as he says. “I create adventures that I share in the form of books, films and conferences,” he explains.

He crossed on foot

His first trip on his biclou lasted 813 days and gave birth to his book From Dream to Handlebar. In 2022, he crossed France on foot from Catalonia to Brittany, passing in particular through the Sabolian country. He made a film from it: Walk France. In 2023, he left his home in Ille-et-Vilaine by canoe, on foot, on horseback and by bike. Escapades compiled in his second film: At the end of home.

During this film conference evening in Sabolian land, Constant Pelhate will sign his book and his two short films will be screened. He will be available to interact with spectators and answer their questions. He will also be able to talk about his latest journey: the crossing of Slovenia on foot, carried out this year and on which a new documentary film is currently being produced.

Monday October 14, 2024, at 8 p.m., at the Confluences cinema, rue Saint-Denis, in Sablé-sur-Sarthe. Prices: €5.80 to €8.30.
