A festive excavator

The show, which pays tribute to rockstar Johnny Hallyday who died in 2017, as well as to his musical universe, promises to put on a show. An excavator was in fact specially rented for “unearth this monument of French song and illuminate its thousand facets”. The machine is also a nod to the end of the construction site on Place de la République. “You’ve seen machines here everywhere over the last two years, and we’re happy to hand over a 15-ton excavator in a festive way,” underlined Antoine Fantin, artistic director of Lisieux moved.

The 4th edition of the festival, organized by the Lisieux Bouge association, will be held all weekend in the Mosaic garden, with a particularly interesting program. And which will leave room for shows for all audiences: the tale of The Seagull and the Cat, the concert by actor Didier Super with his troupe, the show Les Zèles d’obus by Benoit Charpe with aerial figures, or even In the Woods everything is allowed for a “crazy version of Little Red Riding Hood”. The detailed program can be found on the website of the Lisieux Bouge association. Shuttles are in place throughout the festival between the city center and the Hauteville district.
