The French team will travel to Belgium without Kylian Mbappé. Didier Deschamps revealed this Thursday his selection for the matches against Israel (October 10) and the Red Devils (October 14) in the Nations League and the Real Madrid striker is absent.
Mbappé was injured on September 24 against Alavès and seemed set for three weeks of unavailability. But surprise: the Frenchman returned to the Madrid group on Wednesday and entered the game against Lille in the 57th minute. Despite this return to the field, he will remain with Madrid during this international break.
He is replaced by Chelsea player Christopher Nkunku, who will be accompanied by Parisians Bradley Barcola, Ousmane Dembélé and Randal Kolo Muani, and also by Michael Olise and Marcus Thuram.
Another big absentee is Antoine Griezmann, but for a completely different reason since the 33-year-old decided this week to retire internationally.
