It is a drama which has made three victims and which plunges the world of journalism into turmoil. Tuesday August 15, Gérard Leclerc is on board a tourist plane which is destined for La Baule (Loire-Atlantique). The journalist has planned to go to a concert given by his half-brother Julien Clerc. Unfortunately, the DR400 type aircraft he was in command of never arrived. The journalist specializing in politics, known for having shared the set of Time for the Pros on CNews, the program presented by Pascal Praud, lost his life in the crash of the plane, which ran aground near Lavau-sur-Loire (Loire-Atlantique).
A real drama for the relatives of the 71-year-old man and in particular his wife, Julie Leclerc, known for having been the voice of Europe 1 for almost fifty years, before being recruited by Laurent Ruquier in his program Les grosses heads on RTL. As of yesterday evening, the identity of a second victim was revealed and it is Michèle Monory, 72 years old. The latter is none other than the daughter of René Monory, who was Minister of National Education from 1986 to 1989 and President of the Senate from 1992 to 1998. So far, little information has filtered on the third victim of this terrible accident, but according to information from AFP, which quotes a source familiar with the matter, it is a friend of Michèle Monory, who accompanied her for this crossing towards La Baule.
