A native of Paris, the young 24 -year -old artist Martin Seznec settled with his family in Concarneau when he was barely 3. Ten years later, at just 13 years old, a guitar in his hands, he begins his first Musical compositions… a family story. “I wanted to do like my big brother and my uncle. But also my grandfather who, he took over Brassens a scratch in hand, ”smiles Martin. His first compositions found refuge in an Anglo-Saxon inspiration, which never left him. 2023, a pivotal year
In May 2023, Martin Seznec crossed paths with Johann Lagadec, one of the key characters in the Moros studios. “He pushed me to continue with my guitar and my voice. He is a professional who has a very dignified career. He asked me to prepare a 45 -minute concert in the space of two months. I took up the challenge, despite some failures. Behind, he signed me a date at the Tri Martolod brewery in December 2023. ”
A year that has been completed with more unexpected events and meetings. During the 2023 yellow dog festival, Martin Seznec had the opportunity to perform alongside the recognized comicsist Alex Inker, invited at the time for his last comic book “Colorado Train”. “He drew live, his drawings were projected and, in parallel, I composed a melody to animate his story,” recalls the artist.
This year also allowed the birth of a team. “I met Romain Le Bleis, the videographer who made my last clip, and Raphaël James, the CAC engineer, who has mixed music. In parallel, the Lorient studio of the sound refinery offered to master my sound. »»

Studies and music
In parallel with music, Martin Seznec begins studies in applied foreign languages (Lea), in Quimper. “I waxed the school benches for six years,” he laughs. It was more to do something next to it. To validate his studies, the artist flies to Ireland in early 2024, in a publishing house in Galway where he will spend three months. “I was able to sing my last single” is it home “in an Open MIC evening. A year 2025 full of ambitions
Currently at the Label de la Maison Concarneau, Martin Seznec hopes to be talked about this year, especially with the release of his new single, available on all streaming platforms, but also with many projects in perspective. “On May 7, I am the first part of Sarah McCoy at the CAC”, Trépigne the artist, still on his cloud.
“The objective of 2025 is to be able to live from my music, to make as many dates, get out of music before summer … The machine is not yet launched, it is a long path on which I Wears me, ”concludes the young singer-songwriter, his head full of ambitions.
