Asked about the MeToo movement, Aurore Delplace revealed that she was the victim of inappropriate behavior at the age of 23 from a producer: “I lived it”, she declared before detailing the situation. “He took out his machine for me. He told me that if I wanted to succeed in this industry, I had to go through thisthat I was too naive.” She also mentioned the particularly crude comments her attacker made against her: “He told me I had to go do drugs, try things in other countries, basically get busted. Otherwise, I would live in the world of Care Bears and I would be a housewife.” Faced with this attack, Aurore Delplace explained that she reacted with embarrassment: “I laugh very easily and when I’m embarrassed, I laugh. So I laugh. [Je me dis] it’s not possible (…) It’s really without complexes (…) I was very young and I left. I managed to leave.” His companion, Kevin Levy, also reacted: “I found out not long ago.”he confided.

Aurore Delplace also said she encountered this attacker again some time later. However, she emphasized how fortunate she was not to have been traumatized by this experience: “Honestly, I did well. I imagine others didn’t have the strength.” When asked if she wanted to reveal the identity of her attacker, Aurore Delplace refused: “I wouldn’t say because I don’t have the balls. I don’t want to talk about these topics..” If she chose not to reveal the name of this man, she explained that he was a producer and that the project linked to his advances ultimately never came to fruition.
