A role that was until now reserved for the iconic duo formed by Nelson Monfort and Philippe Candeloro, and has been for almost twenty years. Instead, fans of ice sports found on November 1st the female trio composed of Marie-Christelle MauryNathalie Péchalat and Annick Dumont (who was already alongside Nelson Monfort and Philippe Candeloro all these last years). And for this presenter and former judokate, it was time for a change!
Indeed, Céline Géraud did not hide her enthusiasm at the mention of the arrival of her colleagues on the air in the show At Jordan’sbroadcast this Monday, January 20. “I think it’s good, it’s very good news! Marie-Christelle Maury has been following skating for a very long time and knows it perfectly, Nathalie Péchalat was an Olympic medalist and president of the French Skating Federation so she is an excellent specialist and the pair will work perfectly. Jordan de Luxe also recalled the presence of Annick Dumont within this new team, already a historic face of the discipline. “She has already been there for a very long time and knows skating better than anyone“, confirmed Céline Géraud.
