Haute-Loire. A wild boar trapped in the frozen water of the Lavalette dam

Sunday January 19, at midday, emergency services were alerted to rescue a wild boar at Lake Lavalette. This one was trapped in the middle of frozen water.

Indeed, it was local residents who saw the animal fighting in the middle of the lake near the leisure center in the town of Chenereilles. At 3:40 p.m., the Sdis aquatic rescue team, made up of six firefighters from the centers of Yssingeaux, Tence and Le Puy-en-Velay, was dispatched but impossible to reach the beast. Around 7:30 p.m., the wild boar, alone, managed to get out of the water.
