Thank you Dorothée celebrates 50 years of Dorothée Club with a special broadcast scheduled for Friday January 24, 2025 on TF1. The objective? Capitalizing on the nostalgia of a generation of viewers who are now adults.

Thank you Dorothée awaits millions of spectators who will find Dorothée and her team for this anniversary show. For a decade, from 1987 to 1997, Club Dorothée left its mark on young viewers with its cartoons, sitcoms and songs.

What happened to the members of the Dorothée Club?

Among the members of the team, Frédérique Hoschedé, alias Dorothée, with Jacques “Jacky” Jakubowicz, Ariane Carletti, François Corbier, Patrick Simpson-Jones and the members of Musclé. But what happened to them?

After stopping the Dorothée ClubFrédérique Hoschedé experienced a 13-year journey through the desert before returning to the stage in 2010 with a new album and concerts at the Olympia and Bercy. Since then, the woman has been more discreet.

Jacques Jakubowicz continued to host shows on the IDF1 channel of the producer of Dorothée ClubJean-Luc Azoulay. Particularly the daily JLPP: Jacky washes cleaner until 2023.

Patrick Simpson-Jones continued his audiovisual career as a producer and notably participated in the creation of IDF1 in 2007. He now lives in the United States where he runs a business in this sector.

Ariane Carletti pursued a career in audiovisual at AB Productions, notably in casting and program production. She also went on stage, in the theaterbefore passing away in September 2019 after a long illness.

François Corbier continued the song after the cessation of Dorothée Club and released three albums between 2003 and 2009. The singer has performed on stage until his death in July 2018.

As for the members of the MusclesBernard Minet continued his career as a singer with concerts. Richard Framboisier recorded parody songs before his death in 2015. René Morizur, known as “Papa René”appeared on stage until his death in 2015. Rémy Sarrazin composes music for films and took on the role of producer. Eric Bouad released an album in 2005 and participated in cartoon soundtracks.
