Since December 2, 2024, Benoît, a photographer who lives near , has been winning a series of victories in the emblematic 2 game, Don’t forget the words. Saturday January 18, 2025 will remain a historic date for the show: he has, in fact, become the greatest Maestro of all time. With 79 victories and an impressive prize pool of 538,000 euros, he ousted Margaux, who had held first place since 2020. On the set, presenter Nagui did not hide his admiration for this extraordinary candidate. During this memorable evening, Benoît faced a new competitor whom he brilliantly eliminated. But it was during the final that the incredible happened: he surpassed Margaux and rose to the top of the rankings. The latter, nicknamed “Queen Margaux” by Nagui, had remained undefeated for five years, with 59 victories and 530,000 euros in winnings.

For Benoît, this moment was full of emotion. As Queen’s We Are the Champions rang out on stage, he couldn’t contain his tears. Margaux, present by video to witness this transfer of power, greeted the performance with humor. “You’re going to have to find another nickname for me!” she said to Nagui, before proposing “Marie-Antoinette”. For Benoît: “It’s a crazy moment. It was unimaginable from the start, and it remains very hard to achieve. For me, Margaux was unbeatable.
