Jean-Pierre Foucault was the subject of a portrait in “50 minutes inside” this Saturday January 18, 2025 to celebrate his 40 years of career at TF1. The 77-year-old host spoke about the sudden and violent disappearance of his father when he was still a teenager.

The 77-year-old host was the subject of a portrait in this show, to mark his 40th career at TF1. Presenter of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?” or even “Miss France”, Jean-Pierre Foucault has distinguished himself by presenting numerous programs for decades.
-“No one knows why”
In 50 minutes inside, he returned to a violent episode, the foundation of his long career. “We lived in Marseille, my father had an import-export company and he had a branch in Algiers. He went to Algiers for two days to check the accounting, says my mother, and he was shot twice in the the back”said Jean-Pierre Foucault, notably taken up by Here is. “No one knows why. The host considers that he owes his career to his father. “I think about it every day and I know he’s there and he’s guiding me.” His mother was very proud of his career in television: “She was very, very happy to be Jean-Pierre’s mother,” also shared the one who was born in Marseille in 1947.
