A residence transformed into a gigantic pile of ashes.

Los Angeles is hit by violent fires for several days. Thousands of residents lost their homes, including Laeticia Hallyday. The widow of the late rocker star indicated on Thursday January 9 that the house in which her family rebuilt after the death of Johnny Hallyday had gone up in smoke. This Saturday, she revealed some images.

“There is nothing left… Only ashes where our laughter, our memories, our history lived”she wrote on Instagram, in a message accompanied by a video showing the remains of her house. “I feel like I’ve lost a part of my soul, like a part of me has gone with the flames.”

“There is one thing left that nothing can ever burn: the immense love that I receive every day”

“Yet, in this abyss, there remains one thing that nothing can ever burn: the immense love that I receive every day”poursuit Laeticia Hallyday. “Your messages, your prayers, your gestures touch me deeply. You are my strength, my hope, my reason to believe in tomorrow. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.”

Laeticia Hallyday is not the only celebrity to have lost her residence during these fires. Hilton, Anthony Hopkins and Patrick Bruel have all seen their homes turn into ruins in recent days, while more than 10,000 buildings were destroyed in four days.
