Jean-Luc Petitrenaud, gastronomic columnist, radio and television host died this Friday January 10, 2025 at the age of 74.

Jean-Luc Petitrenaud was known in the audiovisual landscape for having presented numerous programs devoted to gastronomy and cooking.

After studying literature in Clermont-Ferrand, Jean-Luc Petitrenaud began his career in the 1970s at Radio Clermont-Ferrand. He then worked for different radio stations, notably France Inter et Europe 1where he hosted shows devoted to gastronomy.

In 1990, he joined the team of Telematin on Antenna 2 where he presented a daily column devoted to cooking. He then hosted numerous culinary shows, such as “Gourmet postcard” et “The Escapes of Jean-Luc Petitrenaud”.

Jean-Luc Petitrenaud was a talented popularizer who knew how to share his passion for gastronomy with the general public. He was also a fervent defender of local products and French culinary traditions.
