Vincent Lagaf’ can have a smile. After the success of the “Bigdil” RMC Story version, followed by 1.80 million viewers on Thursday January 2, 2025, the troublemaker had “dedicated this success to Fabrice Bailly, director of the TF1 channel”he said on BFMTV.

Questioned by “TVMag” this Tuesday, January 7, Vincent Lagaf’ took on this jibe and explained its origin. “To be very honest, this little tackle did me a lot, a lot, a lot of good. Given that I didn’t tackle TF1, far be it from me to spit in the soup. But I had an old score to settle with Fabrice Bailly”insisted the host.

“At the time, I had done “Le Bigdil”, “Le prix fixe” and “Boom”, I was no longer under contract with TF1. During a lunch at the chain’s restaurant, I proposed to Jean-François Lancelier (director of broadcasts, programs and production, Editor’s note) and Fabrice Bailly to resume “Le Bigdil”, but in prime time and once in a while. In response, Fabrice Bailly told me in the face: ‘It’s an excellent idea, we should still change the host and the name of the show’. Since then, I’ve had it in my throat.” The public entertainer therefore seized this “unexpected opportunity” pour “put it in his face” this remark.
Before the broadcast of the second issue of “Bigdil” this Friday, January 10, 2025, Vincent Lagaf’ gave his feelings: “If I manage to match the audience we had for the premiere, I will be the happiest man in the world”he concludes.
