Actors Zendaya and Tom Holland have become engaged, several American media revealed on Monday, the day after the Golden Globes where the actress appeared with a ring set with an enormous diamond.
The precious stone worn by the 28-year-old actress during the ceremony ignited social networks on Sunday: many fans began to speculate about a potential engagement.

The 28-year-old British actor got down on one knee “in a very intimate setting at one of Zendaya’s family’s homes in the United States,” according to the site.
“We’re told that Tom didn’t want to make a big show, but rather a very romantic and intimate request,” explains TMZ. “Our sources say the family wasn’t there, (…) it was just a sweet moment between Tom and Zendaya.”
The two actors met during the filming of “Spiderman: Homecoming” (2017), a film in which their characters exchange a kiss.
They began a relationship in 2021 and are one of Hollywood’s most popular couples, although they fiercely guard their privacy.
Tom Holland was not at the Golden Globes on Sunday, but Zendaya was nominated for her role in the comedy “Challengers,” which features a love triangle in the world of tennis.
During the ceremony, actor Timothée Chalamet and his girlfriend Kylie Jenner also made headlines on social media when their displays of affection were captured on camera.
