Affected by breast cancer a few years ago, Alice Detollenaere will have to have another operation. As she indicated on her Instagram account, Camille Lacourt’s companion is back in Paris to undergo an operation.
It was an ordeal that they experienced together and despite the illness, the former swimmer never wanted to leave. However, when Alice Detollenaere discovered that she had breast cancer, Camille Lacourt’s partner suggested that they break up, as he explained a few months ago in the podcast InPower. “She told me: ‘but you can leave, we can separate’”he said, before responding: “Thank you for giving me the choice, but that’s not at all what I envision”.
Very united, Camille Lacourt and Alice Detollenaere therefore experienced this ordeal together and after overcoming her cancer, the former Miss Burgundy gave birth to the couple’s first child. A little boy named Marius who delights Valérie Bègue’s ex, with whom he had a daughter named Jazz. Having settled near Marseille for several years after having lived for a long time in the Paris region, the former swimmer, who struggled to hold back his tears when talking about the story of his partner Alice recently, is back in the capital. “Heading to Paris with my other half to go back to the operating room. Everything is fine, don’t worry!”writes the companion of the world swimming champion on her Instagram account, where she is followed by more than 50,000 subscribers.
Alice Detollenaere underwent breast surgery due to discomfort
After her serious worries and this cancer that she fought, Alice Detollenaere has since had some inconveniences, as she explains through her story (the photos can be found in the slideshow). “Since my last operation, I have discomfort due to the implant with which we reconstructed the breast. I’ve been reluctant to go back for 4 years. Already because I don’t want to and then because it always involves risks”specifies the athlete’s companion, who revealed adorable photos of her son, who wants to do everything like the former swimmer, before adding: “In my case, they (the risks) are ‘only’ aesthetic. If, for example, the operation goes wrong, I may find myself without a breast. After weighing the pros and cons, I prefer to try and be optimistic. Aesthetics yes, but not at the cost of well-being.”
Alice Detollenaere therefore wants to be reassuring before her operation, which is not vital for her. “Operation result tomorrow morning left and right breast! We cut everything in half. Hoping to wake up with the potato”concludes Camille Lacourt’s companion.
