The Premiers Plans festival has revealed the members of its juries for this 37th edition. The jury for feature films will be chaired by Nicole Garcia, and that for short films by Erwan Le Duc.

The Premiers Plans festival, an unmissable event for European cinema, has announced the composition of its juries for its next edition, which will be held from January 18 to 26, 2025 in .

Nicole Garcia, Boris Lojkine, Nadia Tereszkiewicz…

Five personalities from the world of cinema have been confirmed for the feature film jury, chaired by actress, screenwriter and director Nicole Garcia. She will be surrounded by Franco-Swedish filmmaker Anna Novion, César-winning actress Nadia Tereszkiewicz and director Boris Lojkine.

The latter, in particular, maintains close links with the city of Angers, having carried out several projects linked to the region, such as Camillea biopic on Angevin reporter-photographer Camille Lepage, and Souleymane’s storywhich highlights the trajectory of an undocumented migrant, a film crowned with several international awards, including the Fipresci prize at in 2024.

The short film jury will be chaired by Erwan Le Duc, director and screenwriter of the films Partridge (2019) et Her Father’s Daughter (2023), as well as the series Under control (2023). He will be accompanied by Belgian director Paloma Sermon-Daï, whose first feature film, It’s raining in the house (2023), was praised in several festivals. A third member of this jury, whose name will be revealed soon, will complete this team.
