The famous Senegalese artist-comedian Lamine Ndiaye, whose real name is Mahamadou Diarra, is among the personalities who will join the National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (CNRA).
Recognized for his active support of the regime of Bassirou Diomaye Faye, Lamine Ndiaye joins this regulatory body as a representative of the cultural sector, where he could play a determining role in the evolution of the audiovisual sector in Senegal.

On the proposal of the Minister of Communication, Telecommunications and Digital Affairs, the President of the Republic, Bassirou Diomaye Faye, signed Decree No. 2024-3401 formalizing the appointment of new members of the National Audiovisual Regulatory Council (CNRA ). These appointments, which take effect from December 11, 2024, will last for a period of six years, non-renewable and non-revocable.
