The documentary, in which Claudette Dion testifies about the illness that is gnawing at her sister, looks back on her journey. From the first appearances of the disease to the Eiffel Tower, including his childhood and his early career. A journey marked by struggles and resilience. The star trains, stretches, to relax muscles and vocal cords, in addition to heavy treatment and therapy. A discipline to which she clings and sticks, because she absolutely wants to get back on stage. But what next? “I know there is a dormant project”, continues her sister. “Still in Vegas. You saw like everyone else, she went to Caesars Palace to meet Adèle. […] She wants that. She wants to hear and see the scene again, from among the audience. She feeds off all that, that's for sure. I understand her so much”. If this statement suggests a good hope of a return for the singer of the tube So that you love me againthe fact remains that the illness from which she suffers currently has no cure. The multiple treatments and other palliatives certainly allow her to have more good days than bad, but she still suffers from stiff person syndrome. The disease can be managed, not cured. Perhaps she will record new albums, as she hinted in the Prime Video documentary? According to one of the speakers in the BFMTV documentary, the “discographic return” would be “the only short-term solution” : she could thus record one, or even two albums, in English and in French, going to the recording studio according to her possibilities and allowing herself breaks. She and her team are certainly working behind the scenes on this second part of Céline Dion's career which she so longs for. Fans will have to be patient to find out what their idol has in store for them. In the meantime, the star has donated two million dollars to advance research.
