A few days before Christmas, the princely family of Monaco organized its traditional distribution of Christmas gifts to Monegasque children aged 5 to 12 a week earlier. In fact, the members of the princely family were gathered in the Court of Honor of the Prince’s Palace on Wednesday December 18, 2024, to themselves ensure the delivery of gifts to the children. For the occasion, numerous Christmas decorations were installed in the Court of Honor of the Prince’s Palace (see slideshow, editor’s note). Present today, Albert and Charlene of Monaco with their twins, as well as Stéphanie of Monaco and her youngest daughter, Camille Gottlieb.
According to information revealed by the local daily Monaco Morning, a quartet of magicians and dancers provided entertainment for this event on site, in order to entertain the children. In total, nearly 700 toddlers from the principality of Monaco took part in this traditional distribution of Christmas gifts. Some of them, however, let a few tears escape.
Indeed, several children could not hide their sadness when they discovered that the gift they received that day was not necessarily the one they mentioned in their letter to Santa. It must be said that the members of the princely family of Monaco had planned many very varied gifts to offer the children on the occasion of this event. There were in particular magician kits, remote-controlled carts, Playmobil boxes, soft toys, Frozen costumes, and even Ninja outfits within the various gift packages. Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella also participated in this event alongside their parents Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco. The daughter of the princely couple also wore a perfectly appropriate outfit for the occasion, given that she was dressed in a magnificent red coatsimilar to that of Santa Claus.
