The actress received strong criticism after her husband, Ryan Reynolds, claimed that they were both from the “working class” during an interview with Hollywood Reporter Friday, December 13. The 48-year-old actor then spoke about the education of their four children, James, 10 years old, Inez, 8 years old, Betty, 5 years old, and Olin, 1 year old, whom the couple wishes to raise away from the spotlight.
“We try to give them as normal a life as possible,” he said. We both grew up in working-class families, and I remember when our children were very young, I would say or think, “My God, I would never have had a gift like that when I was little ”, or “I would never have had the luxury of takeout.”

Ryan Reynolds’ statement did not escape Blake Lively’s fans, quick to point out that the parents of the heroine of Gossip Girl are the actors Ernie and Elaine Lively, who have made careers in Hollywood. The 37-year-old actress grew up in the chic suburb of Tarzana in Los Angeles, and studied at Burbank High School, a prestigious high school in the City of Angels.
