This Italian model publicly revealed that she was the face of Kinder for 15 years.

Information confirmed by the Ferrero brand: “ we can confirm that the face of the child depicted on the packaging of Kinder Chocolat from 2004 to 2019 was that of Matteo Farneti.” For around fifteen years, his smiling face was featured on Kinder products around the world. “To renew the graphics, they changed my shirt but the face is still mine”he clarified.
Matteo Farneti's mother can also confirm since her son was the subject of a Kinder video for the “handover” between him and the new “Kinder child” in 2019. From the Courier of Bolognashe also remembers the first contract signed in 2011: “I still have the contract they made us sign. A contract which, among other things, includes a whole series of ethical rules to respect which my son has always adhered to for years. »
His image exploited by others
The story could be cute if it didn't have negative consequences. But Matteo Farneti decided to reveal the truth to have to stop proving his identity. For years, on social networks, other people have announced that they are “the Kinder child” while displaying themselves with their child’s photo. “What I don't understand is that if they really worked for Kinder, why don't they show their photo instead of using mine? It's not nice to see your image of a child in the hands of others while they brag about being that child.”, deplores the model.
A frustrating situation all the more so since Matteo Farneti then finds himself having to prove that he is the real “Kinder child” and “always justify yourself” with friends or at work. “We are quickly called liars”he notes bitterly. The model also explains to Liberation not having been able to speak publicly in previous years because of the clauses of his contract with Ferrero. “ Time always reveals the truth.
