A selection of works at low prices and exceptional pieces presented by the MJH gallery in Nîmes.
Opened last year in the Écusson in Nîmes by Marie-Jean Heleine, the MJH gallery likes to present little treasures. This is once again what the gallery is offering with a seasonal exhibition, “Art Gifts for Christmas” flavorfully multiplying the views, starting with a Provençal Christmas landscape by Yves Brayer.
In a joyful accumulation, the exhibition presents both a selection of small pieces at very affordable prices and some exceptional works allowing art lovers to break the bank. Lithos and glass works
Marie-Jean Heleine also particularly likes the art of glass, present with Daum editions, Lalique vases or creations by Perrin & Perrin, Ruud der van Riet or an adorable variation around Brancusi’s kiss by Xavier Carrère.
At the same time, the gallery brings together a series of more exceptional works, an accumulation of violins by Arman, two dazzling lithographs by Foujita, a mirror by Combas, a glass print of a sculpture by Braque or an impressive bronze silhouette by Matta .
