The Saint-Malo Theatres unveiled, on Tuesday July 2, the 40 shows scheduled from October 2024 to May 2025either at L’Hermine in Saint-Servan, or at Chateaubriand Intra-Muros.

“We are proud of this cultural seasonboth in substance and form, explains Laurent Ziveri, the director. It is the culmination of teamwork.

It has, it is true, everything to please a wide audience. Everything also to make people forget the delicate financial context.

If there is a fifteen fewer shows that last season, “there is a little more comedieswithout resorting to entertainment at all costs.” “In total, we must have seen between 150 and 200 live shows, plus those we watch on videos, to build the program. We work on impulse.”

September 2024

  • The tone will be set on Saturday September 28 “with a great show”, In Audrey’s eyes : It is a dance biopic of Audrey Hepburn, choreographed by François Mauduit, former soloist of Maurice Béjart, and performed by a ballet of 16 dancers.

October 2024

  • The Wednesday 2nd OctoberIn Romeo and Juliet at a distancethey are two clowns who offer an offbeat version of the Shakespearean classic.
  • We will continue with another classic, this time by Victor Hugo, the Thursday, 3rd October : Ruy Blasin a flamboyant version mixing theater, music, dance and acrobatics.
  • Saturday October 12place au one woman show de Caroline Vigneaux.
  • Tuesday October 15it will be Cutsa satirical comedy in which an environmentalist mayor decides to install a relay antenna in his town.
  • Thursday October 17we will discover the story of Jean Carrière, winner of the 1972 Prix Goncourt, who went from sudden enormous success to fifteen years of depression (The Price of a Goncourtwith Philippe Chuyen)
  • Tuesday October 22the actress Florence Pernel will shine in The Eighth Heaven by Jean-Philippe Daguerre: she plays a brilliant woman who decides, upon retirement, to welcome migrants into her home…
  • Saturday October 26the only one on stage Frederick Sigrist will talk about superheroesand it will be offered with the Quai des Bulles festival.

November 2024

  • Wednesday, November 6it is the Regards Croisés festival which will open at L’Hermine with The day I realized the sky was blueA show, in the form of a thriller, where a young autistic girl is accused of murder.
  • Saturday November 9thGrégori Baquet and Mélanie Page will play the romantic comedy, My name is Georges“currently under creation”.
  • This is also the case for The Mother in Childbirthdesigned by the Rennes company LaDude, to discover Thursday, November 14.
  • Sunday November 17large puppets will compose A Midsummer Night’s dream Shakespeare into a magical, “inventive and festive” “gem.”
  • It will be less joyful, but “very poignant”, with Degree, the Thursday 21 November : the expatriate Syrian Fida Mohissen signs “an intimate story on the temptation of confinement in a dogma”.

Prices, young audiences, subscriptions…

– For this season, the prices of the shows have increased. For example, the youth rate goes from 10 to 11€. Two shows have a single rate of 42.5€: La Note and A Streetcar Named Desire.
– As for last season, around fifteen shows for young audiences are scheduled from October to May, with concerts, clowns, object theatre, circus, stories, puppets or film concerts.
– A spectators’ club will be launched on Tuesday, September 17 at 7 p.m. at the Théâtre L’Hermine. “It will be what the participants decide to make of it.”
– Subscriptions for the 24/25 season will open on Saturday July 6 at 9 a.m. online at www.theatresaintmalo.com, at the Théâtre L’Hermine box office: Saturday July 6 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday July 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the following week from Monday July 8 to Friday July 12: box office open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

December 2024

  • Thursday December 5th, Alexander Brasseur et Catherine Marchal will grow A great cry of lovenamed after the cult comedy by Josiane Balasko.
  • A little sweetness with the singer Emily Loiseauwho will present his new album on Saturday, December 7th.
  • Do not miss, above all, The Big Boys skate well. “Hilarious”, burlesque and crazy, this show, awarded a 2022 Molière, will make the whole family laugh. It is, note well, the Tuesday December 10.
  • Friday December 13th, Jean-François Breuer takes over the role of Guillaume Gallienne in Boys and Guillaume, to the table !, “with great sensitivity.”

January 2025

  • Event of the season, Sophie Marceau et François Berléand will take to the stage of L’Hermine, the Saturday January 11pour NoteShe is a famous psychoanalyst, he a renowned pianist: they take stock of their lives, “between anger and humor.”
  • Friday January 17th, Näss (People) is a choreography for seven dancers, between Morocco and urban dances.
  • The Poetry of FailureLaurent Ziveri’s favorite, will be played on Thursday January 23. “A play which, like others presented during the season, addresses the theme of family.” With a humor that oscillates between black and burlesque.
  • Saturday January 25another family story, this time tackled in a one-man show by Frédérique Voruz, bottle-fed on maternal neuroses. It’s called Lalalangue.
  • Tuesday January 28, I am the executioner’s mother tells the story of a mother’s descent into hell when she discovers that her son is a monster. Clementine Celarie is exceptional.”

February 2025

  • Wednesday February 5, make way for a masterpiece by Molière, The Miser. Olivier Brocheformerly of the Deschiens, plays “a masterful Harpagon” there.
  • Thursday, February 27, 4 211 km is “a theatrical gem with two Molières” and a big success of the year. Aïla Navidi, daughter of Iranian exiles, tells her life “between two worlds”.

Mars 2025
