Touching confidences… Friday, June 28, 2024, Jean-Pierre Castaldi was a guest on the Bel RTL morning show. Asked about the link that unites him to Belgium, the former host made some unexpected revelations. “My first great love of my life, she was a Belgian model
who left us a few years ago, very well-known, who ended up as a painter making collages, I discovered that recently”
he confided.

Visibly moved, Benjamin Castaldi’s father said:
“She made very beautiful collages, so I think I’m the only one who can decode what she put on her canvases.
And unfortunately, it’s a story like all great love stories that don’t end well, but I never forgot her. Never. Never, never. I even thought about publishing all her letters in homage to everything she wrote to me, but hey, it’s complicated.”

Jean-Pierre Castaldi was married twice

In 1969, the former host was married to actress Catherine Allégret, with whom he had Benjamin Castaldi. I am spoiled.”he assured about the mother of his last two children, Giovanni and Paola.
