Disney films have this power that other films do not have: they bring people together. The Misses and the Magic of Disney
Regularly invited to cultural events, a few former Misses appeared to attend the screening of “Moana 2”. Those who made little girls dream with their princess dresses during competitions, happily return to their childhood in front of a Disney. Vaimalama Chaves (Miss France 2019) reunited with her friends Alicia Aylies (Miss France 2017) and Élodie Gossuin (Miss France 2001). The latter caused a sensation by arriving with her husband Bertrand Lacherie and their five children.
Miss France 2024 was unfortunately not able to attend this preview and her excuse is more than valid. Traveling with the contenders for the crown, Eve Gilles has been in Ivory Coast for a week to support the young women in their apprenticeship as beauty queens.
