At the time of the events, he had consumed cocaine, alcohol and antidepressants. Tributes from his admirers and celebrities who worked with him have followed one another in recent weeks, including that of his girlfriend Kate Cassidy, who returned to the United States a few days before his death. Former top model Naomi Campbell also spoke out, as did a singer who collapsed in the middle of a concert. But the other members of the group who made him known were also particularly affected.

Liam Payne's funeral took place today in Amersham, west of London. Loved ones gathered at St Mary's Church, including Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Harry Styles, all former members of One Direction. They arrived separately but were all dressed in black, wearing sunglasses.
In a joint statement, they said “completely devastated” after the death of their friend. They had clarified that in due time “and when everyone is able to do it, we will have more to say. But for now, we will have to grieve and digest the loss of our brother, whom we loved very much.”.

The causes of the singer's death
Liam Payne's coffin arrived in a white carriage covered with flowers and pulled by horses, also white. He was escorted into the church by his parents, Geoff and Karen. Also present was the mother of his 7-year-old son Bear. Cheryl Cole is the lead singer of Girls Aloud.
