It’s the end of the Walker series! After four seasons and 69 episodes, the final episode of the television show has just been broadcast on the CW. A cancellation that goes badly with Jared Padalecki (Cordell Walker) who visibly resents the American network.

It was during an interview with the Variety website that the former star of Supernatural expressed his anger following the acquisition of the channel by Nexstar: “They’re drastically changing the channel in a way where it won’t really be a TV channel but rather ‘here’s something fun to watch for an hour that you’ll never watch again but hopefully you will when even because it’s cheap to produce!’

“And I hate to say this but I have to be honest. I don’t care anymore! Realistically, they can’t fire me again. I’m being completely honest. I feel like they’re trying to make easy, cheap content with which to fill their airtime.”

He concludes : “I have the feeling that the CW that I was a part of last year is no longer the same one that I was a part of for almost 20 years under the presidency of Mark Pedowitz (the former CEO of the channel ).”

An anger that we can hear since Jared Padalecki spent the majority of his career working on projects broadcast on the CW. This is not the first time that the actor has made this type of comment. So, he confided to TVLine how tired he was lately: “I’m exhausted after so many years on television.”

“I’m a little disillusioned with the state of the television industry that I loved and worked in for 24 years.“If he plans to spend more time with his wife and children in order to gain perspective, he could still make an appearance in The Boys alongside Jensen Ackles and Jeffrey Dean Morgan: “It’s not written yet (…) but I would be delighted!”
