Pierre Palmade in court for his terrible road accident
More than a year after the tragedy, Pierre Palmade goes to the Melun criminal court to be judged. As a reminder, he caused a terrible road accident, which left three people injured on February 10, 2023. A woman, Mila, had lost the baby that she carried in her womb. The comedian arrived at court in a black van.
The least we can say is that Pierre Palmade wanted be as discreet as possible. According to AFP, he was dressed in a black jacket over a white shirt. He would have passed “through a back door to escape the swarm of cameras” in order to enter the room as quickly as possible. There he sat in the dockaccompanied by his two lawyers, Alain Barsikian and Céline Laseck.
The victim had lost her child
Pierre Palmade will have to face serious charges, because on the day of the accident, he was driving his vehicle under the influence of drugs. Mila, the passenger who lost her child, is in the room. “It’s very difficult for me to be here today”she begins by saying, very moved. The day before the accident, she and her partner had just moved into a new apartment and were preparing to welcome their new child. In fact, Mila was in her eighth month of pregnancy.
“For me, starting my family is something which was very valuable“she assures. If Mila made the trip, this is not the case for her husband, who did not want to find himself in front of Pierre Palmade. According to Mila, he could not face “the looks and the person who is the cause of the death of (our) child“.
Mila became a mother despite everything
Obviously, the loss of their baby was an absolute drama for the couple. Mila even thought about suicide, but ultimately decided to hang on. And she did well because she finally gave birth to a little girltwo months ago. Even if she still has sessions with the physiotherapist for a detached shoulder blade linked to the accident, Mila can now console herself by fully embracing her role as a mother.
“I was on antidepressants until I was pregnant. I stopped when I found out about it and I was followed by two psychiatrists”confides the young woman. She explains that this second pregnancy was much more complicated than the first, because she did not want to become attached to her child, for fear of losing him again. “I had less chance of getting pregnant. Getting pregnant quickly, for me, it's a miracle“she finally said.
