Since January 2023, fans of Scenes of households have the pleasure of following the adventures of Gilbert and Christine, respectively played by Didier Bénéureau and Fanny Cottençon. Unfortunately, less than two years after their arrival on M6, the duo is already leaving.
Indeed, during the M6 2024-2025 back-to-school conference which was held on Wednesday June 25, it was announced that Fanny Cottençon and Didier Bénureau would not return to the comedy series and would sign their last sketches by the end of the year 2024. The actors would simply meet “scheduling problems” which prevent them from continuing the adventure on the small screen. It must be said that Didier Bénureau is very busy with his career in the theater and his show Entier. Building on its success, dates have been added from September 28 at the Comédie des Champs Elysées.

But don’t panic, to compensate for their absence, M6 is banking on a new couple formed by comedians Elodie Poux (the new nugget of humor that everyone is grabbing) and Majid Berhila (from the Lascars Gays duo). They will play a couple of independent grocers who promise lots of arguments and funny sequences. Their arrival in Scenes of households is planned for the beginning of 2025.
On Instagram, this Thursday, June 27, Majid Berhila was very happy to confirm the news. “That’s it! Secret finally revealed. Happy to enter the scene with the talented Elodie Poux and to share with you this new adventure“, he wrote in the caption of his publication, where a first filming photo was revealed.
The emblematic couples still in the casting
Big changes to be expected for the faithful of Scenes of households. But let them be reassured, they will find at the start of the school year the other emblematic couples of fiction, including those formed by Valérie Karsenti (Liliane) and Frédéric Bouraly (José) or even David Mora (Fabien) and Anne-Elisabeth Blateau (Emma) . Gérard Hernandez must also step into the shoes of Raymond but still without his Huguette since the death of his interpreter, Marion Game.
