They make the news, but not in the best way. The rapper artists Dof Ndeye and D Freezy, fans of bad buzz, have once again stood out with their favorite practices which border on “I don’t care”, thus shocking the consciences of the Senegalese.

The first, a repeat aggressor, simply risks returning to prison with his microphone, sorry his dagger. Arrested again for illegal possession of a weapon and attempted murder, the rapper from Grand-Yoff had pursued an individual to whom he administered several stab wounds. The images are shocking.

This is not his first attempt. From what we know, the guy was, in April 2023, arrested for the same facts before being released. He had vented his bile on another young person named Maodo whose political affiliation he did not like. In a video, the rapper says he regrets nothing, affirming his friendship and his closeness with Amadou Sall, the son of the former President of the Republic.

Meanwhile, his brother, “Ibou le fou”, confirmed his… madness, by drawing a machete to smash the forearm of a police officer.

For her part, D Freezy, whose real name is Audrey Diatta, constantly arouses the shock and surprise of spectators and Internet users with her choice of clothes which outline her curves. On stage, the young lady shows almost everything. These are images considered obscene and vulgar which offend the sensibilities of many Internet users. But there is nothing serious in the eyes of this one who, in a song called “down”, boasted of having big buttocks. Chick!

In recent days, this artist from Guédiawaye has provoked a new wave of indignation following the escapades she indulged in, already in 2020. Always on the occasion of the “Music Festival”, celebrated every June 21.

The NGO Jamra, which accuses it of being a “real promoter of obscene dances”, filed this Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the vice squad, the Special Cybercrime Division and the public prosecutor with complaints for violation articles 318 and 324 20 202 020 of the Penal Code, as well as law 2008-11 of January 25, 2008, on indecent assault, public outrage against good morals and the use of electronic means to convey information images, sounds and videos that violate our morals.

But obviously, D Freezy will stop at nothing. “Dafa wow beutt”, one would say. Faced with an avalanche of recriminations on social networks, she confided to Seneweb people that she wanted, through her sulphurous outfits, to send a message that is close to her heart: “Paying homage to prostitutes and especially to curvy women who have the complex of wearing this kind of clothes.”

After each of her appearances, she is the subject of harsh criticism. But Audrey does not give in. “Hip-Hop is not a religion, it is not holy. We should not be given rules and limits. Hip-Hop certainly has its positive sides, but there are a lot of dark spots, negative things. It is, above all, street art. And in the street, there is everything,” she defended herself.

She continues: “I refuse to be dictated to my behavior. It’s up to me to impose my life choices on the public. The clothes do not make the man. Today, even if I am not a saint, I can at least certify that I am on the right path. Many are at risk of going to hell because of the judgment they pass on me.”

This country is magical!
