In 2021, while he was still playing at Juventus Turin, she spoke for Sportweek magazine, the thing he never did at home: “Cristiano is a great dad and the best husband I could dream of (…) But he doesn’t cook. After training all morning, he deserves to find a nice hot plate of food prepared with love on the table (…) We have a chef, but sometimes I cook.”
The couple went through hardships
More united than ever, the lovers have experienced complicated periods, like this drama experienced in April 2022 when they announced the death of one of their babiess at the time of the birth of the beautiful 30-year-old Spaniard. “It is with the greatest sadness that we have to announce that our baby has died. It is the greatest pain that any parent can feel. Only the birth of our daughter gives us the strength to live through this moment with hope and happiness“, wrote the couple in a joint message on Instagram. An ordeal that the couple managed to overcome despite immense sadness.
“My heart broke”
For her part, Georgina Rodriguez also spoke about the loss of her child in her show on Netflix. She then talked about the things that allowed her to recover. “My heart broke and I wondered how I was going to be able to bear it (…) The solution was closer than I thought. I looked into my children’s eyes and saw there the only way out, that we are all together“, said Cristiano Ronaldo’s companion. A few months later, Georgina Rodriguez decided to make a symbolic gesture by getting a tattoo in tribute to her son.
