The shot which caused an injury to his chest was indeed provoked “voluntarily” by Kendji Girac, announced this Monday, June 24, the public prosecutor of Mont-de-Marsan, Olivier Janson. The events took place in a traveler camp in Biscarrosse (Landes) on April 22. The singer was in his caravan, with his partner and his daughter, who was sleeping.
“The investigation carried out made it possible to formally exclude the intervention of a third party in the occurrence of the shooting. The procedure was therefore closed without further action,” it is written in the press release. . In this case, Kendji Girac committed two crimes: acquisition and possession of a category B weapon, and illicit use of narcotics (the singer had consumed cocaine that evening).

“The procedure relating to offenses against weapons legislation has been closed without further action.” That on the use of narcotics “will also be classified within six months, subject to compliance with health monitoring”.
Very discreet since the accident, the singer reappeared this weekend in a video (undated) on a fan’s Instagram account.
