Clara Luciani did not let it happen. In the columns of Paris Match this Wednesday, November 13, she made many confidences about her career. The opportunity for the singer to also make an important clarification on the questions that can be asked of her. Regarding the possibility of going on tour now that she is a mother, Clara Luciani says:
“I notice that we never ask musician dads this question, because we assume that they will find solutions”.
The singer then made a comparison with the interviews given by her partner. “Alex is never questioned about it, that still proves something…”she assured. A clarification which highlights a very important message: why can't women artists tour when they are mothers? Like any singer, they adapt their schedule according to their child and enjoy every moment in their company. This is particularly what Clara Luciani declares.
Clara Luciani: a mother who benefits from her career
Clara Luciani became a mother but she never gave up her singing career. “I recently took a trip to Benin with Unicef and on Instagram someone commented: 'You better look after your own child'. she lamented. A message among many others but which particularly irritated her. “I have never seen comments like this on my partner’s account”says the singer who adds:
“It’s 2024 but mentalities haven’t changed that much.”
Clara Luciani has no intention of letting her audience down.
She confides in particular to having a “hyper fantasized vision of the tour”, adding: “a bit like families in circuses”. The singer cites, for example, Paul and Linda McCartney who managed to juggle their private lives and their professional careers. “They took the kids with them when they played Wings. We are very lucky to do this job”she said, adding: “It should all remain a celebration.”
Clara Luciani: an artist who opts for discretion
Clara Luciani is one of the public figures who does not like to talk about her private life. It is very rare that she confides on this subject but she agreed to talk about her daily life as a pregnant woman. It was during her pregnancy that she composed My blooda piece that is particularly close to his heart. “I didn’t want to talk about my pregnancy but I wanted to address my future child,” she declared before continuing: “I wanted to entrust him with my life journey.” A song in which she reveals herself.
Clara Luciani then mentions the possibility of going on tour with her son.
“He will come and he will hear these songs”, she said, shutting down certain detractors. “He won't understand them right away, but as he grows up, he will find answers to his questions thanks to this disc”she assures, adding: “I can’t wait for him to get hold of it”. While touring can be difficult for an artist, Clara Luciani intends to take full advantage of her son.
