According to him, the palace fears that Kate Middleton will sow discord on the king’s birthday.
“The reason is that it’s the king’s birthday parade and I think if she appeared on the balcony, it would overshadow this event”, assures Cameron Walker. It therefore seems unlikely that Charles III’s daughter-in-law would want to steal the spotlight from the king on this special day. As for the monarch, also suffering from cancer, will review the military troops aboard a carriage and not on a horse, as tradition dictates.
