“Here it all begins” Summary in advance of the episode of July 3, 2024

Enzo is tested by Marc and Rose

Vic is very proud and happy to show Billie and Tom her valedictorian diploma. She takes the opportunity to present to them her decoration ideas for her temporary tavern. In addition, she offers Billie to become her kitchen assistant. She jumps for joy, but Tom reminds her that unfortunately she is not available next week. Vic therefore offers the job to Tom, who accepts the offer.

Later that day, Vic and Enzo show Joachim the decoration for the pop-up restaurant. The young woman, who wants to modernize the image of the tavern, does not want to put checkered tablecloths on the tables, unlike Enzo who does not design the restaurant without one. The couple disagreed on the concept. As a result, Joachim advises them to think quietly on their own, then come back with well-defined ideas.

At the end of the day, Joachim informs Leroy that Vic and Enzo absolutely disagree on the visual identity of the tavern. The chef hopes that Enzo will be mature enough, because he and Rose want to offer the young man a position within the Master. So this is a test, but Enzo is not yet aware of it. Will he validate this test?

Zoé sees her dreams disappear

At the summer camp, Lionel and Solal ask the interns to explain their recipe for tartare made with raw fish. Zoé is the first to try. Solal tries to be nice to her, even though her recipe isn’t perfect, but Lionel is more demanding. He doesn’t mince his words when telling her what he thinks of her dish, then asks all the students to start from scratch:
“Please be more creative. Because taste-wise, we‘‘bored”.

Once the test is over, a new tasting takes place. Solal congratulates Zoé on her recipe. For his part, Lionel launches a simple: “Not bad”. Zoé is reassured, but is it really enough? Solal warns his friend. He advises him to be less strict with his little sister, but Lionel replies that he doesn’t want to compliment her, because she gets big-headed quickly.

Once the day of training is over, Lionel finds Zoé in the Institute park. They are both talking, when suddenly the young woman asks him what he thought of his dishes. Lionel replies that his tartare and dessert were very good: “You were very strong and you have good intuitions in the kitchen”. Faced with her big brother’s compliments, Zoé announces that she wants to take the Institute’s competitive exam. Lionel is surprised, he didn’t know that his little sister wanted to become a cook. He warns her: “We don’t go to cooking school because we cook from time to time”Zoé explains to him that Gaby motivated her choice, but Lionel answers her curtly: “Just because you’re going to this cooking school doesn’t mean he’ll be interested in you.” Zoé is hurt by her brother’s words.

Jasmine makes a bloody discovery

Rose and Paul are walking by the pool. They get to know each other better and revisit their first kiss. Suddenly, Carla shows up and informs her mother that Paul has a collection of guns in his secret room. The latter tries to justify himself by explaining that it is not dangerous and offers the two women to give them a little guided tour. The three of them arrive in the famous locked office, and Paul explains to Rose and Carla that these weapons were left to him by his grandfather. Against all expectations, Rose doesn’t hold it against him. Once alone with Carla, Paul approaches her to tell her that he saw her break into his office. He shows her the surveillance camera video and adds: “I won’t say anything to Rose, but really, change your behavior.”

A few minutes later, Carla tells her girlfriend that she doesn’t feel Paul at all: “There’s something worrying about him.” She is convinced that he is trying to intimidate her. Bérénice advises her to be less suspicious and to give him a chance. So, Carla promises to make an effort. For their part, Rose and Constance find themselves alone in the villa. Rose blames herself for having forced Carla to spend the holidays with her and Paul. Constance reminds her that it is not because she is her daughter that she is obliged to tell her everything. She confides in her that it is normal to feel what she feels. Rose, who, a few months ago, did not know that she was a mother, is reassured by her friend’s words.

Meanwhile, Souleymane hears a noise in the kitchen. This is Cléo, the daughter of the stewards. She joins him and begins to chat with the young man. The latter takes the opportunity to compliment his cooking. She tells him that she is self-taught and has therefore never followed any training. She compliments him in return, telling him that she likes his perfume and finds him sexy. Souleymane is troubled and replies that he also likes her a lot. They are about to kiss, when suddenly, Carla shows up. Souleymane leaves the room. For her part, Carla offers Cléo to become her second for the day.

When they get back from the beach, everyone discovers a delicious buffet prepared by Carla and Cléo. Carla tells her friends that it’s a way of apologizing for her behavior in recent days. She also apologizes to Souleymane for being rude to him. A few minutes later, the party is in full swing. Everyone is dancing and sipping cocktails by the pool. Rose goes to the kitchen to thank Carla for organizing a pool party. Carla tells her that it’s the least she can do after wrongly accusing Paul. Rose doesn’t hold it against her, and apologizes in turn for lying to her about her relationship with Paul. Suddenly, Jasmine starts screaming. She looks towards the pool and says in a trembling voice: “I was bathing, and the water turned red, like blood.”
