Since October 10, M6 viewers can follow an episode of the Best Pastry Chef 2024. A show presented by Laëtitia Milot. Interviewed by TV Magazine (September 24 edition), she provided a behind-the-scenes detail of the filming.
Following the departure of Marie Portolano for France Télévisions, the production of Best Pastryhad to find a new presenter. And to the public's great surprise, it's the former star of More beautiful life which was designated. A choice that is ultimately unanimous. But Laëtitia Milot does not hide it, she hesitated to embark on this great adventure: “At first I asked myself lots of questions. I didn't know if I was going to be able to animate. But this challenge appealed to me because I love cooking shows. I enjoyed Everyone in the kitchen. I told myself that for amateur pastry chefs, it would also be a first time. And that we would be in the same mold.“

Ultimately, the bubbly 44-year-old brunette has no regrets about her choice. Very quickly, she made friends with the team of the culinary program of Channel 6. “Everyone was very welcoming. Mercotte and Cyril Lignac are very cool and, little by little, I found my place“, she continued. Laëtitia Milot also got closer to the candidates of the Best Pastry Chef 2024. However, she quickly realized that this did not work in her favor: “I was very stressed, sometimes more than them. When they do two tests a day, it's borderline superhuman. At the beginning, I had a little trouble, because I got too attached and I shed my little tears during the eliminations. This will be one of the lessons for the next season.“
His daughter Lyana (6 years old, fruit of his union with Badri) “also attached itself to certain candidates” as Laëtitia Milot clarified. Because yes, the little girl had the pleasure of coming to the filming of Best Pastry Chef 2024. And she was not the only child to discover behind the scenes. “She was delighted, she had a lot of fun with Cyril Lignac's son [Léo, 2 ans NDLR]”, said the mother.
Lyana will undoubtedly have the pleasure of returning next year since her famous mother would like to return for the next season.
