In the middle of a signing session in – his hometown -, on the occasion of the release of his latest book, François Hollande was followed by the 5 cameras which covered the event. But the sequence took a comical turn to say the least when one of the admirers, giving her first name for the dedication, indicated that her name was Valérie. Indeed, it is difficult not to think, in this type of situation, of Valérie Trierweiler, the ex-partner of François Hollande.

Taken aback, the former president then repeated the admirer’s first name, before the latter confirmed: “Valerie, yes”. Not without humor, François Hollande then blurted out: “I know it well yes!”. And the woman in front of him responds, sarcastically: “Ah good ?”. A small moment of embarrassment in the face of which the former president coped rather well, ultimately, by choosing to play the humor card.
