This Saturday, October 19, Ève Gilles handed over her Miss -Pas-de- crown to Sabah Aib who will represent the region during the Miss 2025 election, on December 14 on TF1. Here is what she said to the young woman at the time of her election.

It was an evening rich in emotions which brought a few tears to Ève Gilles, Miss France 2024. This Saturday, October 19, she was back in her region to pass on her crown to the new Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais, in a few weeks before the Miss France 2025 election. It would be a lie to say that I’m not moved, it’s been three days that I’ve only been crying. They’re not really tears of sadness, it’s more about realizing how far I’ve come, the teams I have behind me, the support, everything that has happened for a year now…”confided the young woman during an interview granted to Tele-Leisurepartner of the election.

“We have to go get the fifth!”: Here is what Ève Gilles said to Sabah Aid before the election of Miss France 2025

At the end of the show held in Liévin near , it was Sabah Aid who was elected in front of nearly 5,000 people. The 18-year-old young woman, who represented Villeneuve-D’Ascq, is a second-year law degree student. It was with emotion that Ève Gilles crowned her in front of two other Miss France from Nord-Pas-de-Calais: Camille Cerf and Maëva Coucke who had also made the trip. “I told him ‘that’s it, you did it, I hope you’re proud of yourself, now you’ll have to give it your all‘. I also told him that we were 4-4 in terms of crowns with Guadeloupe and that we had to go for the fifth!reveals Ève Gilles. Indeed, the region has been crowned four times during the Miss France election, the first time with Camille Cerf, in 2015, then the following year with Iris Mittenaere, with Maëva Coucke for the 2018 election then Ève Gilles for Miss France 2024.

“I obviously cried a lot.”: Ève Gilles very moved when returning her crown of Miss Nord-Pas-de-Calais

It was truly an extraordinary evening and I had fun.” testified Ève Gilles at the end of the election. “I obviously cried a lot, it was a lot of emotion, between the candidates’ choreography, the Miss show and then this last painting, It’s a bit like I’m saying goodbye to them without really saying goodbye.”, confides the young woman. “I’m more than ready, I’m going to do everything to win the crown.”for its part reacted Sabah Aid after its election.
