After making adults dance for decades, Gilbert Montagné decided to delight the little ones. The 72-year-old singer returns with We sing! Let’s dance!an album composed of five new nursery rhymes and five traditional ones. “I think the least likeable adults are those who have forgotten that they were children. I never lost that side. I treated nursery rhymes in a very pure way”says the interpreter of Tropical Sunlightsthis Wednesday, October 16, in an interview given to Here Paris.
It must also be said that the one who revealed a dark side to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games is a happy grandfather, who has several grandchildren. “Two are the age of nursery rhymes: Arthur (2 years old), son of my youngest Nicolas who lives in Canada, and Elli (10 months), the little one of Maya, daughter of Nikole, my wife. Éric and Cécile, a story that lasts
A love story that is unusual to say the least, but which does not seem to disturb the artist any more. Already in the past, Gilbert Montagné has spoken about the marriage of his son with his wife Nikole’s daughter. “When we started living together, my daughter Cécile was 15, and Éric, Gilbert’s son, was 20. A few years later, they fell in love. We didn’t expect it, life is crazy …”told Nikole in the columns of the magazine Gala last year.
