During an interview with the podcast Happy Sad Confusedthe 41-year-old actor revealed a funny anecdote to say the least concerning an intimate scene with his partner on screen.

“The scene in question was getting heated – that’s how we choreographed it – and we were, so to speak, right in the middle of it,” the Spider-Man star said. “And we went a little further than we expected because we didn’t hear ‘cut’ and it was going well. »

Big laugh for a big embarrassment

Andrew Garfield then humorously recounted the moment they realized something was wrong. “I looked up, and in the corner I saw the cameraman and the boom operator,” he continued. “The camera was on the side and facing the wall. » An awkward situation which fortunately ended in a big laugh. Andrew Garfield did not fail to praise the professionalism of Florence Pugh, describing his partner as “very confident in her body () and her sexuality”.
